Q:
What is My KEY?
  A:
My KEY is your projects portal - your home page. The screen where you get a summarized overview of all your project activity as a consumer or supplier, including critical project notifications and settings.
  [41.1.10]
Q:
What if I forgot my password or User ID?
  A:
Navigate to the sign in screen where you will see links for both user ID and password reminder utilities. A notification will be sent to the primary email on file for your account. If you cannot remember your User ID, password, or email, contact support for assistance.
  [41.2.100]
Q:
What if I need to change my User ID or "user name"?
  A:
User ID's cannot be changed. This is the one unique constant that will always identify you to others on this site.
  [41.9.100]
Q:
What if I need to change my primary email address?
  A:
To change your primary email address navigate to your account settings screen and click on the communications links from the side menu. A verification link will be sent to your new email address, changes will not take effect until you verify your new email with this link.

From the communications setting screen you may also add alternate email addresses for HTML, and SMS notifications.

Q:
What if I did not receive my account verification code?
  A:
Once you have successfully created an account, a verification code is sent to the email you provided as your primary contact email. This notification is transmitted immediately and should arrive to your inbox in a short period of time. If not, check your spam (junk mail) folder. Remember to set serviskey.net as a safe domain in your email clients' spam filters to avoid missing any future communications, including project notifications.

If you cannot locate your verification code, sign in to your account and then click on the "verify account" link which will take you to the verification screen. Once there, you can have the code transmitted to your email again. Accounts that remain unverified for an extended period of time will be closed.

Q:
What if I entered the wrong email address and cannot verify my account?
  A:
You can still access your account and correct your email address. Sign in and from your account settings click on the communications link located on the left navigation bar. From your communications setting screen select the change link next to your primary email address. Once you have input your correct email a new verification code will be generated and sent.

Q:
Can I access my account from a wireless mobile phone?
A: Yes. From your phone or other wireless device (tablet) navigate to the site as usual. Screen and navigation characteristics will change automatically depending on the device and resolutions supported. All site functionality will remain accessible, however menu structures will change and in some cases main navigation menus will be retracted and will need to be expanded for use.

Three primary display formats are supported - desktop, tablet, and smartphone. You can toggle display formats on-the-fly with any device browser by using the collapse () / expand () icons located at the very top right corner of most screens.

Q: What is "Third Party Access"? How does it work?
A: Third party access to ServisKEY is provided via the oAuth protocol.

"OAuth is an open standard for authorization. OAuth provides a method for clients to access server resources on behalf of a resource owner (such as a different client or an end-user). It also provides a process for end-users to authorize third-party access to their server resources without sharing their credentials (typically, a username and password pair), using user-agent redirections" (Wikipedia).

In plain English? OAuth provides the ability to use the same login credentials across multiple independent sites without ever disclosing those credentials (primarily your password) - secure login access without having to remember the username and password combination for each site. Once you are signed in to any service provider site (i.e. Google), you can access ServisKEY by simply clicking the Google login button on the main sign in screen. ServisKEY will request information from Google to confirm you are signed in there and that you are who you say you are. Once that is established you will have full access to your ServisKEY account - without having to remember and use your ServisKEY credentials to sign in.
